Translation+Revision (ENGLISH˂˃FRENCH) from $0.04/word

If, as a translation company, you want to, but cannot afford to pay freelance translators well because your profit margins are tight, talk to The Engagement Ring Translation NOW.

Our Process

At The Engagement Ring Translation, each translation and MTPE project is systematically taken care of by two linguists: A translator/post-editor and a revisor. This time-consuming process leads to rewarding results. We deliver with confidence, safe in the idea that you, your client, and the reader of the translation will be happy. We deliver happiness.

After translation/post-editing/revision, our translator/post-editor/revisor performs quality assessment with Xbench to root out inconsistencies, and with Antidote or Grammarly to fix grammar, spelling, typography and basic stylistic and writing convention issues. Because our inhouse translators and revisers work in the same room, they discuss challenges and solve problems in-person for optimal results. They can always count on colleagues in the room for help whenever necessary.

We have developped a Localization Industry Standards Association (LISA) form for internal quality control and monitoring. Our self-imposed fail treshold is 98%. Our revisors routinely use LISA QA forms to record issues and rate translations. Scorecards with FAIL results are systematically discussed during whole-team quality masses. Issues in PASS scorecards are discussed during quality masses when necessary.

Because quality is a religion at The Engagement Ring Translation, we organise Quality Masses every Saturday as standard, to discuss special quality issues recorded in LISA scorecards.Through quality masses, we learn from our mistakes and improve everyday.

We own Trados as standard and work with any client-provided Computer-Aided Translation (CAT) tools. We have experience with XTM, ATMS, GlobalLink, Phrase, Fluently, to name a few.

At The Engagement Ring Translation, we are aware that MTPE is cheap. Yet, we don’t believe MTPE is easy and fast. Rather, we know it takes highly skilled and experienced translators to turn the machine output into palatable, human-grade translations. We will help with your low budget MPTE project if you negotiate ample enough deadlines for us.
